The heat-treatment process is done in dedicated heat treatment lines with a controlled heating and cooling regime, and all batches are subjected to testing in our National Class II Laboratory. The work scope of the Laboratory comprises chemical composition analysis, mechanical performance testing, hardness measurement, and impact testing at low temperatures down to −80°C. Consequently, what is on the certificate is what has been measured, not what has been presumed through guesswork.

Our in-house National Level II Laboratory allows us to perform complete and precise quality checks at every critical phase of the manufacturing process. Warranty and After-Sales Service
Each forged main shaft produced and delivered by HHF has a standard 12-month warranty period from the time of delivery against manufacturing defects related to material, forging, and heat treatment. On a confirmed quality issue during the warranty period, we will either repair the article, replace the defective one, or refund as we had previously negotiated in agreement. Our staff in charge will reply technical questions within one working day at most and for overseas clients we can organize the joint examination with a third party company e.g., SGS or BV whenever necessary. Additionally, we maintain both production and inspection records for each individual order which enables the matching of the spare parts or repeat orders with the original specification of goods without re-engineering.
Logistics and Delivery
The main shafts for a forging process are not only massive but quite large and their size usually exceeds transportation standards. Therefore, we need to have them packed and shipped in a careful manner to avoid damages and we take a series of precautions to prevent corrosion on the machined surfaces after packing. Besides that, we design the lifting and securing points in consultation with a forwarder, for the largest components, we make sure they are the safest possible way to carry your goods. We load our freight from such ports as Qingdao, Shanghai, and Tianjin as well and we are able to process different kinds of shipments: FOB, CIF, and DAP. In emergencies, we can even break a shipment into parts and use air freight service for small main shafts. Henan Zhongyuan Heavy Forging Co., Ltd. (HHF), founded in 2004 in Jiyuan City, Henan Province, is a specialized company engaged in forging of heavy-duty components. The Company's main line of products is forged large-diameter main shafts. We provide a wide variety of products with outer diameters ranging from 120mm to 1200mm. The forged main shafts produced by us are used in heavy-duty industrial equipment where high strength, reliability, and prolonged service life are paramount, and are developed to suit the different industries' operational conditions.
The Company's factory area of approximately 150 mu (around 100,000 m2) accommodates production operations for both large forging and die forging. Our major production equipment includes a 10,000-ton hydraulic press, besides two die forging production lines. Other supporting facilities are large CNC machining centers, heat treatment facilities, as well as a comprehensive second level National Laboratory. Warranty is 12 months counted from delivery date, during which material, forging and heat treatment defects shall be covered. Any claim being the subject of dispute or not will be resolved with the reference to original set of records. Issues that are validated will be settled via repair service, product replacement or issuance of credit notes whichever is more appropriate.
Which shipping terms and ports do you usually use?
Our shipments are dispatched from Qingdao, Shanghai, or Tianjin ports. The main terms are FOB, CIF, and DAP. The products are packed in a seaworthy manner and, additionally, machined surfaces are subjected to anti-rust treatment.
