Tube mould is one of the essential tools in the production line of centrifugal casting cast iron pipes at present. The commonly used material is 21CrMo10. The working environment of tube mould is very harsh.The tube die is a kind of thin tube forging. During the production of tube die, the inner hole of billet contacts with mandrel and horse bar, and the billet cools rapidly, resulting in the complicated bearing condition of billet.
Because of its long length and thin wall, tube forging parts are prone to inner hole cracks and end cracks in the forging process.The influence of predrawing amount and predrawing form on the quality of tube die forgings was proposed.The scrap rate and reject rate of tube die are greatly reduced.
